Radiohead: There's a Thief Alrighty
smckeating by Scott McKeating March 30th, 2003
I doubt Radiohead will be Hailing the Thief tonight! Someone has leaked the new Radiohead LP onto the internet.

World famous Radiohead website At Ease has confirmed the leak and even has the audacity to offer directions to the downloads.

A tiny rundown on each track is featured below. Look away if you want to wait for the big DiS review.

'2 + 2 = 5' Angular guitars, strong Paranoid Android feel.
'Sit Down. Stand Up' Exploding rock epic, big guitars
'Sail to the Moon' Spooky piano song, too dark to be a ballad
'Backdrifts' Most Kid A song on LP.
'Go To Sleep' Average sounding rock track. Boo!
'Where I End And You Begin' A musical note for note Cure impersonation, a good thing in my book.
'We Suck Young Blood' Tom Waits on helium in a good way.
'The Gloaming' Short electronic fuzzyness.
'There There' First single, very indie guitar sound.
'I Will' Standout song by a country mile. Very pretty.
'A Punch-Up at a Wedding' Loose funk vibed track with early WARP artists style ending.
'Myxamatosis'Keyboard punk-as-fuck mayhem
'Scatterbrain' Kinda Byrdsy jangley vibe
'A Wolf At The Door' Nice band performance track. Great vocals

DiScuss: Any opinions on the LP yet? Or any opinions on the leaking of albums well before release dates?
