8 Mile star Brittany Murphy is considering a change of career, putting her movie work to one side to concentrate on becoming a pop star.
Murphy has some experience of singing, professionally: she provided vocals to a track by Paul Oakenfold, 'Faster Pussycat'. Apparently, she's now very keen on exploring other musical options.
The New York Post has claimed that Murphy has even gone so far as to hire a music agent to help her on her way. Luckily, her ex-finance, Jeff Kwatinetz, just happens to be employed in such a role, and has signed on the line.
