iDLEWiLD: More Dates Than an OAP-Party
sean by Sean Adams November 29th, 2002
Mooooorrre iDLEWiLD dates? YUP!

Firstly, the line-up... you will have already read that 23year-old Gavin Fox (rumoured to be related to one of Boyzone!) from the awesome irishness that is TURN is replacing if-jesus-was-a-bassist Bob Fairfoull in Idlewild. But he's not doing the December dates, technician, Alex Grant will be! Oh and Allan Stewart (from Peeps in Fairyland), is now a full-time art-punk, not just a confusing ("who's-he?") extra in the background.

These are the dates that start next week with american fashion victims The Star Spangles and The Walkmen (with members of Jonathon*Fireater!)

DECEMBER
5th: Sheffield Octagon
6th: Birmingham Academy
7th: Leeds University
9th: London Brixton Academy
10th: Bristol Academy
11th: Nottingham Rock City
12th: Southampton Guildhall
14th: Cambridge Corn Exchange
15th: Manchester Academy
16th: Glasgow Barrowlands
17th: Edinburgh Corn Exchange

The new line up makes its debut at the following extra dates in 2003.

JANUARY
30th: Derry Nerve Centre
31st: Belfast Queens University

FEBRUARY
1st: Dublin Ambassador
3rd: Whitehaven Civic Hall
5th: Aberdeen Music Hall
6th: Glasgow Barrowlands
7th: Cardiff University

Their tour will then depart to Australia and then the USA for shows to support the release of the album.
