Juxtaposition hit the road

Leeds psychedelia revivalists Juxtaposition are about to kick off a five-date tour which will take them from their home town all the way to Cork, calling in at Glasgow, Newcastle and Dublin along the way.

The rare live dates will be followed by the release of the band’s five-track debut EP on their Captured Records label. “The first release is going to be really special,” says founder Lee Mallinson. “It will get more significant as time goes by.”

Audiences will be able to get their hands on a multimedia package prepared exclusively for these gigs. For more details visit the band’s site at www.juxt.co.uk The tour dates are:

13th - Leeds Metropolitan University
19th - Glasgow, West 13th (lunchtime session with Owen McAulay)
23rd - Newcastle-upon-Tyne, The Stage Door
24th - Dublin, The Cobble Stone (supporting Niall Connolly)
25th - Cork, University College (lunchtime session)
25th - Cork, The Lobby (supporting Niall Connolly)
