New of Montreal album gets UK release date
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater June 29th, 2010

The release date for of Montreal's forthcoming and tenth full-length album has been confirmed. It will be - along with a whole range of other hotly anticipated records - available on September 13 through Polyvinyl Records in all the usual formats, LP, CD and digitally. The artwork and tracklisting were also recently revealed, both of which can be viewed below:

OM FP

  1. I Feel Ya' Strutter
  2. Our Riotous Defects (feat. Janelle Monáe)?
  3. Coquet Coquette
  4. Godly Intersex
  5. Enemy Gene’ (feat. Janelle Monáe)?
  6. Hydra Fancies
  7. Like A Tourist
  8. Sex Karma (feat. Solange Knowles)?
  9. Girl Named Hello
  10. Famine Affair
  11. Casualty of You
  12. Around the Way
  13. Yu Do Mutilate

As you can see, there are guest stars aplenty, the most notable being Solange Knowles and the current flavour of the month, Janelle Monae. The record was recorded at Kevin Barnes's Apillinaire Rave studios in Georgia, with engineering and all that other important stuff done in Los Angeles. PLUS, there's also a free single/mp3 available to download for Coquet Coquette, which can be obtained here. A tasty taster.
