Clarification: We Are Scientists self-help sessions
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly November 7th, 2007

After earlier reports on DiS, (click), stated that We Are Scientists would be supporting not only fans but themselves on their current UK tour, the band got in touch to clear up the apparent confusion.

Referring to the self-help seminars the band are holding in tandem with the more conventional live shows, Keith from the newly-trimmed duo uttered thus:

“Just a factual update on our story about Tapper leaving the band: the self-improvement seminar thing isn't happening in the support slot of our actual shows. Absurdly, the seminars are totally separate, free things happening at universities in the early afternoon. They have nothing to do with music at all. I know: it's ridiculous.”

Brain Thrust Mastery, as the band are billing it, will shine its guiding light on the following venues over the next couple of months:

November
7 Edinburgh University
8 Leeds Metropolitan University
12 Keele University
22 Bournemouth University SU
24 Cardiff University SU

December
6 Glasgow Strathclyde Student's Union
10 Newcastle Northumbria Student's Union
14 London LSE SU

Keith continued:

“But anyway, I jut wanted to make sure that people coming to our shows didn't think that they were going to have to watch our damn comedy show before getting to see us play, like some sort of self-indulgent, sadistic bit of penance we're exacting along with the ticket price. They've got to actually come specifically if they want to see comedic self-help.”
