Sparklehorse's Wonderful Life

Sparklehorse release a single and album, and tour UK.

'Gold Day' is the first single to be released from the new album 'It's a Wonderful Life'. The single features guest vocals from the wonderful Nina Persson (Cardigans). The single will be available on CD only and features 3 new tracks, tracklisting as follows:

1) Gold Day
2) Helloise
3) Devil's New
4) Maxine

To hear the album live as well as old favourites see the band live at one of the following UK shows:

June
22nd - London Royal Festival Hall
23rd - Norwich Waterfront
24th - Glasgow King Tuts
25th - Manchester MDH
27th - Belfast The Empire
28th - Galway The Warwick
29th - Cork The Savoy Theatre
30th - Dublin Whelans

'It's a Wonderful Life' is released to be released on the 11th June. Short films have been produced for each track on the album. Each short film has been produced by a different artist. The completed films are:

'Sea of Teeth' by Jonathan Donahue (Mercury Rev)
'More Yellow Birds' Jason Lytle (Grandaddy)
'Heloise Rex Remix' Scott Minor

Further films are being produced by Will Oldham (Palace Brothers), Danny Clinch (photographer), Tom Waits, Chan Marshall (Cat Power), Garine Torossian, Guy Madden and the Quay Brothers.

Once all the short films are complete they will be shown at the Edinburgh Festival and on the Sundance Channel.
