DiS London: local rock'n'roll action comes to thee
DiS London: local rock'n'roll action comes to thee
shadyadie by [redacted] August 19th, 2004
Wotcha.

In our third jaunt down to the Brixton Windmill this month, we've got three London bands strutting their stuff in a rock'n'roll way (with psychedlic bits too). And the details are riiiiight here.

The Venue: The Windmill, 22 Blenheim Gardens, Brixton, SW2.

The Date: Aug 25th

Door Tax: £3

The Time: 8pm - late

The Bands: GENERAL KHAKI + THE RED KITES + MY SAD CAPTAINS

GENERAL KHAKI fronted by Gold Blade-luvvin' Tommy Mack, expect some riotous, thrusting r'n'r. Listen to Good Guys And Bad Guys (live).
ONSTAGE AT 10.30pm

THE RED KITES are "The Stone Roses meet The Who in a thrilling burst of Heaven-sent psychedelic rock" - so says Time Out, who should know about these things.
ONSTAGE AT 9.45pm

MY SAD CAPTAINS formed from the ashes of Ed Wallis' previous band, The Great Shark Hunt, taking his Grandaddy/Sparklehorse-inspired music to another level.
ONSTAGE at 9pm

+ you'll also get DJ shadyadie spinning lots of crap tunes in-between!
