What can I say about a song I have loved since I was knee high to...most things? I am Extreeemely happy that Snake River Conspiracy haven't massacred 'How Soon Is Now?'. They've just made it rather sexy, layer electricky goodness. Sometimes the vocals stand out like they do in the original (and still the best), other times they meld into the swooshing and twinkling of the instrumentation. Something that akins this muchly to The Smiths version is the fact that the singer, Tobey Torres, is rather gorgeous and we're left wondering "If her lovelife is harsh enough to justify singing those words, how bad's it gonna be for me?!"
